Verification Consent

What Is Verification?

Treasure Bandit requires identity verification to ensure a safe, trusted community. Verification is required to post bounties, accept bounties, and receive payouts.

What You Consent To

By registering and completing the verification process, you consent to the following:

1. Identity Verification

You consent to submitting a valid government-issued ID for identity verification. This information is used solely to confirm your identity and age (18+). ID documents are stored securely and never shared publicly.

2. Age Verification

You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Providing false age information is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in immediate account termination.

3. Address Verification

Your address is collected for verification and payout processing purposes. It is never displayed publicly or shared with other members.

4. Location Sharing

When accepting a bounty, you consent to having the bounty's GPS coordinates revealed to you. When posting a bounty, you consent to your provided coordinates being stored and shared exclusively with the accepting hunter.

5. Photo Submission

To complete a bounty, you consent to submitting photos taken at the bounty location. These photos are reviewed by moderators and may be retained for dispute resolution. They are not shared publicly without your explicit consent.

6. Moderator Review

You consent to moderators reviewing your submitted bounty completion evidence. Moderators may request additional information if needed for verification.

7. Data Retention

Verification data is retained for the duration of your account and up to 90 days after deletion for legal compliance purposes.

Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. Note that withdrawal of consent means you can no longer use verification-required features of the App.
