Fraud & Abuse Policy
Zero Tolerance for Fraud
Treasure Bandit has a zero-tolerance policy for fraud, abuse, and manipulation. Violations are taken seriously and can result in immediate account termination and legal action.
1. What Constitutes Fraud
The following activities are considered fraudulent: submitting false completion photos, creating fake bounties, operating multiple accounts, colluding with other users to manipulate bids or payouts, impersonating moderators or staff, and providing false identity information.
2. Bid Manipulation
Artificially inflating a bounty pool through self-bidding, coordinated bidding between accounts, or any other form of bid manipulation is prohibited and will result in all associated funds being forfeited.
3. False Completion Evidence
Submitting photos that are not genuinely taken at the bounty location at the time of completion is fraud. This includes edited photos, stock images, or photos taken at a different time or location. All fraudulent completion attempts result in immediate account suspension and payout forfeiture.
4. Fake Bounties
Posting bounties at non-existent or inaccessible locations for the purpose of collecting bids without enabling genuine completion is fraud. All bids are forfeited and accounts are permanently banned.
5. Account Abuse
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspension, gain unfair advantages, or manipulate leaderboards is prohibited. All associated accounts will be suspended and funds forfeited.
6. Reporting Fraud
If you suspect fraudulent activity, report it immediately using the Report feature. Providing false fraud reports is itself a violation. Confirmed fraud reports are rewarded with increased trust status on the platform.
7. Consequences
Depending on severity: warnings, temporary suspension (1-30 days), permanent account ban, forfeiture of all accumulated funds, reporting to law enforcement. We cooperate fully with legal investigations.
8. Appeals
If you believe a fraud determination was made in error, you may submit an appeal through the Appeals page. Appeals are reviewed by senior moderators within 72 hours.
